At fantastic night of music and entertainment at the the Mapperly Social Club saw the Paul Weller tribute band The Modfathers and top Northern Soul DJ's Mick Boyle, Mick H, John Fisher & Neil Rushton entertain a sell out crowd.

How did this event go?
Brads Northern Soul Bash came about from our love of Northern soul music and the Mod scene that some of us have followed for years.
Fittingly Brad also had a great love of Northern soul.
John and Michelle, having attended some Northern Soul weekends all over the country, had spoken to some of the top DJ's and Paul's discussions with the Mod Fathers about our fund raising efforts sowed the seed for putting something together.
After a few 'late night' conversations about combining the two scenes, all agreed 'lets have a go at it!'
From those converastions to getting the venue booked, DJ's and incredible Modfathers on board took only one week!!
300 tickets went on sale the following week and two weeks before the gig it was sold out!!
It was an incredible night with Mick Boyle and John Fisher kicking the evening off. Then followed the Modfathers who were outstanding and came back for two encores. To finish the night we had sets form Neil Rushton and Mick H spinning some great tunes and filling the dance floor right till the end of the evening.
As the evening drew to a close people were coming up saying 'what a great night' and 'whens the next one?', this has encouraged us to start organising a few for the future, SO WATCH THIS SPACE
We would like to thank Mapperly Social Club, Mick Boyle, Mick H, John Fisher, and Neil Rushton together with the lads from the Modfathers, Chris at Studio30 for designing and supplying the flyers and tickets at such short notice.
Most of all thanks to all who came and made it a night to remember!!
